Weed Walk & Yoga with Country Flow Yogis
WHEN: Sunday, May 21st, from 1:00 - 2:00pm
WHERE: Douglass Memorial Garden, aka The Native and Wild Medicinal Plant Garden is located at the intersection of Clinton Road and Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt, NJ.
Join Robin Rose Bennett and Melissa "Bee" Gentile for a memorable, meditative weed walk followed by a gentle yoga class. We are offering this class FREE to celebrate another season with our blessed medicine garden!
Our award-winning garden, now in its 10th year, offers free outdoor herbal medicine education. It is a healing space and sits atop a small hill overlooking beautiful Upper Greenwood Lake. We call it "Education at the Crossroads." We are a community of people who love plants and you are invited to come lend a hand as you learn. We have tools to share and Robin Rose gives mini-classes and often shares a delightful herbal infusion with participating volunteers. Please join for part or all of any of our Sunday gardening days from 11-3pm and learn how to tend the medicinal plants. Bring the kids!
