Ayurvedic Cooking w/ Helen : Melt in your Mouth Delicious!

Ayurveda is the sister science of Yoga with many practices geared towards healthy eating. Come learn the basics of Ayurveda and cook through a menu of delicious gluten-free and vegan recipes.

You will use simple locally sourced produce while Helen guides you in this 2 hour workshop. You will discover how to shop, chop, stir and create healthful food habits that will compliment your yoga practice and overall wellness. Come with a notebook and an empty stomach! The rest will unfold in magical smells, tasty delights and easeful digestion. You will leave the workshop with a recipe packet and the gift of Ayurvedic wisdom.

As the North Wind resides and snow melts into the Earth, late winter is a time to lighten your dishes and bring vibrancy to your palate with elements that balance earth and water.  You will taste and be taught how to prepare delicious gluten-free and vegan dishes that you can serve as a full dinner or as tasty small plates. Helen will show you how to create your own sprouted lentils as well as how to shop, chop and stir modern Ayurvedic dishes. You will leave the workshop with a recipe packet. Enjoy a few hours of culinary delights and open a window to a window of fresh tastes.

Menu: Dosas, Asparagus Soup with Roasted Radishes, Sprouted Lentil, Beet and Rhubarb Salad, Dandelion and Mint Tea
