This workshop will explore Ayurveda's "Vata" season (autumn) and its effects on the body and mind, offering practices to support balance and well-being. Students will learn about Ayurvedic seasonal routines and lifestyle practices, and will make delicious spice mixes to take home. Recipe handouts and Ayurvedic treats with hot tea will be provided—please bring your own mug!
About the Instructor: Karen Appell has been practicing yoga since 2004 and is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor with a 650-hour Kripalu certification. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at County Flow Yoga and is passionate about integrating Ayurveda and yoga to help students achieve balance both on and off the mat. Karen is excited to share this knowledge as a member of the Country Flow Yoga Community.
